Max and Claudean Thompson establish Southwest Filter in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
1990s
Second generation takes the helm
Doug Thompson becomes President of Southwest Filter and begins a lasting business relationship with Rocky Mountain Filtration’s future founder.

Rocky Mountain Filtration founded
Clegg and Holly Anderson establish Rocky Mountain Filtration in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, focused on engineering and manufacturing fiberglass filter and coalescer tubes.

Southwest Filter acquires Rocky Mountain Filtration
Two family-owned filtration businesses unite under common ownership.

Third generation leadership
Southwest Filter enters its third generation of family leadership under Max and Claudean’s granddaughter, Erin Hadwiger, with full integration and expansion of Rocky Mountain Filtration operations.
